Lived in south Lake County for last 15 years, previously lived in Mt. Dora area and Orlando since 1968. I am widowed with one grown son and four fantastic grandchildren living in Virginia. I live in rural Green Swamp near Clermont with two dogs, two cats and one steer.

Employment Experience:
Executive Director, Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter 2012 to present, Realtor, Real Living Good Neighbor Realty 2011 to present. 12 years with Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc. in Apopka, Florida as a Large Project Manager, IT Manager, and Database Administrator.
Worked in Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Graphic Design with a screen printing company in Mt. Dora for 10 years.

Prior Public Service:
One of the founding members of ROW – Restore Our Waterways, a LAKEWATCH volunteer. Campaign treasurer for Sean Parks Campaign in 2010. Treasurer for the Lake Federated Republican Women’s Club from 2010-2012, 2nd Vice President 2013. Precinct Committee Woman for the Lake County Republican Executive Committee, i.e. the Republican Party of Lake County, for Precinct 19 2009 – 2012.

Personal Information:
Carolyn has been a lifelong resident of Lake County and lived on the Harris Chain of Lakes for twelve years. She enjoys boating, kayaking, fishing, Do-It-Yourself home improvement, crafts, reading, gardening, learning new technology and studying Florida nature, especially Alligators.

State legislator, Various local and state boards (land use, library, services for senior citizens, others), Volunteer (presently volunteer at Trout Lake Nature Center)

Personal information:
Family – my wife, Christine, and two children
Formerly lived in Wyoming, Hawaii and Maryland
Enjoy tennis, track and field, obstacle runs, hiking, kayaking, travel, reading, visiting children and one grandchild

John has been working as an Artist at Epcot, for Engineering Services, Walt Disney World since 1989; He also was a Show Rider for Medieval Times from 1987 – 1988; and was employed as a Host, a Gardener, a Decorator and Craft Staff Worker with Walt Disney Company from 1985 – 1988
