Geocaching on the Preserves
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
For more information and to locate geocaches on our Preserves please go to Geocaching.com, the official geocaching site. Please note that the geocaches are not necessarily identified as being on LCWA Preserves, but you may locate geocaches on Preserves by entering a nearby zip code and then using the Map It tool.
If you would like to create a geocache on a Preserve, please download a copy of the Geocaching Agreement, fill it out and send it to our office at
107 North Lake Ave.,
