Keep Lake Beautiful has partnered with the Lake County Adopt-a-Lake Program and the Lake County Water Authority to host a clean-up event near the Crooked River Preserve in Clermont. The Love Our Lakes Clean-up will be held on Saturday, October 13th from 8:30 to noon.
Volunteers are needed to help clean up along the shorelines of Crooked River, Lake Louisa, Lake Susan and the surrounding roadways. If you don’t have your own canoe or kayak there are a limited number available but they must be reserved in advance by calling 352-324-6141. We are also in need of volunteers on land to clean up along the roadway and in the preserve.

Trash bags, trash grabbers, gloves, safety vests, water and T-shirts will be provided. Please dress appropriately and sunscreen/bug spray is suggested. Please RSVP to 352-253-1660 to assist us in our planning. This is not a drop-off event and no outside waste will be accepted.
Check in for the event will begin at 8:30am at 11121 Lake Louisa Road, Clermont FL 34711.
